Gender Affirming Care
Feeling comfortable and proud of how you show your gender to the world is different for everyone. For some trans, non-binary, genderqueer/fluid, and other gender diverse people, taking gender affirming hormones and/or accessing gender affirming surgery can be an important part of that process.
In addition to providing gender affirming care to their own patients, Dr Ower provides consultation regarding initiating hormones, can help facilitate surgery referrals, and follows patients until an affirming hormone regimen is established. At that point, they work with a patient’s primary care provider to ensure comfort in ongoing prescribing.
